so i went to go talk to my coach and a counselor today and everything is set! my coach said i can still do dance team if i just stay on top of things and i am still able to be a full-time student! at first when i told my situation to my counselor they said that i’m going to have to choose since i have to be taking at least 12 units for me to participate in any pep squad activities and having a full schedule seemed out of the question at the time, but then i remember that college has online classes! :] so now i’m taking two online classes and a saturday class and i’m still going to be able to do my thang! yay :] but that means i’m going to have NO life for a while :/ ohhhhh welllllll… it’ll pay off in the end!
thanks to everyone who has been giving me their two cents as to what i should do! i think i’m going to take the job because one semester off of being a fulltime student won’t hurt. and it’s not like i’m dropping out of school. i’ll be taking online classes & i’m going to try to still do dance team (fingers crossed. i’m talking to my coach tomorrow). and this would be a really good opportunity for me and it’ll also allow me to start supporting myself financially, which is really necessary right now since my family has a lot of financial issues! ahhhh i hope this all pans out alright! pray for me & wish me luck :]
i was offered a job at disneyland that would make realllllly realllllly good money & would be a great opportunity for me in so many different ways, but the rehearsals run 5 times a week for 5 weeks straight for 6 hours. this means that i wouldn’t have time to go to school for a month and i would possibly not do pep squad :/
i don’t know what to do. i’ve been hoping that they would choose me to get this job, but now that i know of the things i might have to sacrifice i’m really unsure. HELP!

Don't rely on someone else for your happiness or to validate your self worth. Only you can be responsible for these things. If you can't love and respect yourself - you can't expect someone else to make it happen. Accept who you are - completely; the good and the bad - and make changes when you want to, not because you think someone else wants you to be different.
“Above all, I believe that you should keep your head up. Even through all of this, you can become stronger where life broke you. Not only for yourself, but for everyone around you. You can be a shining beacon of hope for those around you that ever experience unreal adversity. I do believe you have that potential. You can do this. Get up, get out there, and shine your light on the world.”—Dhan Bautista (via fuckyeahconfidence)
i hate how it takes something huge to happen for most of us, if not all, to realize how great of a blessing it is to be alive, living, and breathing. life is such a blessing and it holds so much for us to enjoy, learn from, and soak in, but sometimes we’re so stubborn to accept those beautiful blessings. we complain about little things like money, stupid arguments with our family, or ridiculous high school drama when we should really be rejoicing about being given a life and opportunity to live, air to breath, and millions and millions of people surrounding us in this world that we could love. LOVE YOUR LIFE & LIVE IT. i always stress this concept & i hope that everyone takes this message to heart. i’ll admit that even i can practice this whole idea more, but to those who i see complaining all the time and not appreciating what is good in front of them: soak this in. i’m writing this because i just found out that they’re going to stop my Auntie Dolly’s feeding because she said she’s in too much pain and she doesn’t want to live like that, so now she has about 7-10 days left to be with us. My Auntie Dolly suffered through so much and has been pretty much living as a “vegetable” for the past 2 or 3ish years, but her family has been by her side this whole time and that inspires me. on top of working, her husband is with her EVERYDAY. and her kids are all beautiful, successful, positive, and loving. they never lost hope, even when she was in a coma for a while and their love and support for each other is so beautiful that it’s unreal. brainstorming about this situation has made me realize how short life really is and that all you can do is really embrace the fact that YOU ARE LIVING. i love my family no matter what we go through.
i took that personality test that kim took just cause i was curious. i would say most of this is pretttty true.
Your view on yourself:
Other people find you very interesting, but you are really hiding your true self. Your friends love you because you are a good listener. They’ll probably still love you if you learn to be yourself with them.
The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:
You are a true romantic. When you are in love, you will do anything and everything to keep your love true.
Your readiness to commit to a relationship:
You are ready to commit as soon as you meet the right person. And you believe you will pretty much know as soon as you might that person.
The seriousness of your love:
You like to flirt and behave seductively. The opposite sex finds this very attractive, and that’s why you’ll always have admirers hanging off your arms. But how serious are you about choosing someone to be in a relationship with?
Your views on education
Education is very important in life. You want to study hard and learn as much as you can.
The right job for you:
You’re a practical person and will choose a secure job with a steady income. Knowing what you like to do is important. Find a regular job doing just that and you’ll be set for life.
How do you view success:
You are afraid of failure and scared to have a go at the career you would like to have in case you don’t succeed. Don’t give up when you haven’t yet even started! Be courageous.
What are you most afraid of:
You are afraid of having no one to rely on in times of trouble. You don’t ever want to be unable to take care of yourself. Independence is important to you.
Who is your true self:
You are mature, reasonable, honest and give good advice. People ask for your comments on all sorts of different issues. Sometimes you might find yourself in a dilemma when trapped with a problem, which your heart rather than your head needs to solve.
to those who “liked” or reblogged my one post about my pride in not letting the stupid stuff get to me! it makes me feel all warm and tingly inside knowing that so many different, random people appreciate things like that as much as i do :]
don’t you hate those memories where when you think of them you can’t help but cry or feel awful? all the unwanted but familiar feelings involuntarily come rushing back in & no one knows how you’re really feeling because there’s no information for them to see or hear because everything is just in your vivid memory. i wonder when or if they’ll ever fade away.
p.s. this sounds so emo, but i swear i’m not haha. my mind is just racing at 6AM, so i had to vent somewhere.
“During one episode, Robin freaks out in a restaurant when she mistakenly thinks Ted is proposing to her after she receives a champagne glass with an engagement ring at the bottom. When Ted tells her “That’s not mine”, another gentlemen at the table behind them says “It’s mine”, then proceeds to propose to the woman at his table. The proposal between the man and woman was real. The man set up the whole scheme with the show’s producers, and told his girlfriend that they won a contest and got to be extras in a HIMYM episode. Instead, he proposed on camera, and the proposal will live on forever as part of the episode.”—“How I Met Your Mother” (2005) - Trivia (via kurthectic)(via glimmerglass)(via pwnator)(via dorkvader) (via fuckyeahhappy)
